Master SEO, social, analytics, and campaign strategy in one term
Online or on campus

Digital marketing evolves faster than any textbook can track. This graduate certificate delivers current, practitioner-led training in search engine optimisation, paid social advertising, email automation, and marketing analytics. Each module includes a live campaign you run for a real small business or NGO client. Upon completion, you may transfer credits toward the Brigant MBA or MSc programmes. Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing is taught as one award, not a list of unrelated modules. The published length is 9 months, and the credit total is 15. Students move from Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning through Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning; Search Engine Optimisation & Content; Paid Media & Social Advertising; Marketing Analytics & Conversion Optimisation; Digital Marketing Capstone Campaign, and finish on Digital Marketing Capstone Campaign. Each course has a question, a method, and a submission. In this field, students justify a marketing decision with evidence rather than a slogan. Reading is a brief, a channel note, and a measurement plan. The artefact a marker expects is a campaign or content recommendation with audience, channel, and measure. The award is built so that a graduate can do the following in practice: Build integrated digital campaigns across search, social, and email channels Configure Google Analytics 4 and interpret conversion funnels Create content strategies aligned with brand voice and SEO best practices Teaching assumes the student can read a source, attempt a problem before the seminar, and revise after feedback. Attendance at live seminars is part of the design. The capstone or final course must use the methods of the earlier courses; a project that ignores them does not pass. The pages for each course name the topics that are examined. Those topics are the syllabus. A brochure line is not a substitute for them.
You will run a live campaign for a small business or NGO client with budget accountability. GA4, Search Console, and Meta Ads Manager are taught with current platform interfaces. Credits may transfer toward the Brigant MBA or MSc programmes.

| DM401 | Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning (DM401) is a 3-credit course on Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing, with 30 notional learning hours. By the end, students can justify a marketing decision with evidence rather than a slogan, using Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning as the working context rather than a generic management example. The course is taught in three movements. First, students establish the terms and the decision the course is about. Second, they apply the method to a case, dataset, text, or design and compare it with a weaker alternative. Third, they revise the work after feedback and state what the conclusion cannot support. Preparation uses a brief, a channel note, and a measurement plan. Seminar time is for the decision, not for reading the materials aloud. Assessment is a campaign or content recommendation with audience, channel, and measure. A pass requires a clear method, evidence a marker can check, and an explicit limit. Credit is not awarded for summary alone.
